Trish Bruxvoort Colligan

Program Director and Founder Trish Bruxvoort Colligan is a spiritual director in private practice specializing in sacred ritual, one-on-one holy listening, and retreats for women. In Trish is a one-of-a-kind fusion of spunk, open-heartedness, and compassion. A graduate of the Center for Spiritual Guidance in St. Paul, MN, Trish has incorporated her love of women, stories, poetry, music and the arts into the vision and curriculum for Spirations Institute.

For more than a dozen years Trish has been leading individuals and groups in sacred circle, worship, meditation and spiritual guidance. As a nationally touring songwriter and musician, Trish creates music that accompanies groups and individuals in their life journeys, and offers invitations to insight, laughter, healing and wholeness.

Spend time with Trish and you will find in her a wise, compassionate soul. Her interspiritual journey began at age thirteen when she experienced her first meditation class as part of her journey to recovery from anorexia. Now a Reiki Master well-acquainted with the holistic arts of yoga, movement, sound and healing, Trish offers herself to the healing of the world. She lives out this calling in the hills of Iowa with her dearest companions: husband Richard, six-year-old son Sam, Abby the midwife dog, and three very odd cats.

Cindy Chicoine

Co-leader Cindy Chicoine ACSW,LISW,LMT brings a heart full of gratitude for over 30 years of partnering with fellow journeyers as they discover their own spirits' wisdom and natural wholeness. As a participant in the first Spirations class, Cindy was awed by the emphasis on the felt experience of the many wisdom traditions. Herself born with an "interspiritual heart," Cindy yearns to honor the many 'wells to the aquifer' of the Holy Presence. Cindy's current role as a Spirations co-leader offers the exciting opportunity to share in the unfolding of others' interspiritual stories and the deepening of their Story Midwifery skills.

Cindy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Massage Therapist, Usui and Karuna© Reiki Master-Teacher, and Interspiritual Story Midwife. Additionally, Cindy is a Certified Unconditional Love and Forgiveness Facilitor and a SoulCollage© Workshop Facilitator.

Through her private practice in Des Moines, Iowa, she offers individual, couple, small group and workshop experiences that seek to open us to what our life story is teaching us. Cindy seeks to honor the wholeness of who we are by intention toward and attention to the body, mind, emotions and spirit. Most of all, Cindy is a student of the sacred, mystical and miraculous; a lover of metaphor, hammocks and all things of the heart.
